What we collect

Bharat Equity is currently a public, read-only research platform with no user accounts. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or address. The site uses Vercel's default web analytics (anonymous page-view counts, country-level geolocation) and standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, user-agent) for security and performance debugging only.

What we store on your device

Watchlist tickers, portfolio entries, draft notes, and report drafts you create on the site are saved to your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device and are not transmitted to our servers. Clearing your browser data clears this content.

Third-party data sources

To serve quotes, financials, and news, we make server-side requests to public market-data providers and exchange feeds. These requests originate from our server, not from your browser — so your IP address is not shared with those providers.

Forecast reports are produced by sending company financial data and public-filing text (no personal information) to a third-party language-model processor based in the USA. Their privacy policy governs that processing. This disclosure is included for transparency and regulatory compliance.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. The site uses local theme preferences (light/dark) stored locally.
